A leading global banking institution is seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Software Engineering to lead their software development initiatives. You will be driving the design, development and implementation of cutting-edge software solutions that support the bank's strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
Leading and mentoring a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
Developing and executing a comprehensive software engineering strategy aligned with business goals.
Overseeing the design, development and maintenance of scalable and secure software applications.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software solutions.
Driving the adoption of best practices in software development, testing and deployment.
Staying updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance the bank's software capabilities.
Requirements
Minimum 15+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong background in Java based technologies
Proven leadership experience in managing and mentoring software engineering teams.
Domain knowledge around banking or financial services is a significant advantage.
Strong expertise in software architecture, design patterns, and development methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
