Technical Lead – Big Data & Analytics

We are collaborating with an innovative data analytics company. They are looking for a Technical Lead in Kuala Lumpur. You'll be joining a truly modern tech house, delivering innovative solutions across banking, insurance, government and healthcare. Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of data engineers in an agile environment

• Design and deploy big data solutions using tools like Spark, Hadoop, Scala, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

• Work closely with clients, translating business needs into scalable technical solutions

• Achieve best practices in data engineering, ensuring high-quality, stable, and efficient systems

Requirements

• More than 5 years of hands-on data engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role

• Demonstrable programming skills Scala, Java, or Python Experience developing production-level data processing systems

• Familiarity with DevOps tools like Git, Jenkins and Docker

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in fast-paced client environments
