Head of Data and Analytics Consulting Practice

Job description

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a global management consulting company specialising in financial services. The role involves leading the data and analytics practice in Singapore. You will oversee large-scale transformations and focusing on delivering data strategies, operating models and improving client data processes.


Responsibilities
  • Develop and assess client data strategies, including vision and objectives.

  • Conduct capability assessments and identify pain points through workshops.

  • Review existing data processes and governance, recommending improvements.

  • Define data policies and architecture, translating business needs into actionable plans.

  • Act as a consultant on data technologies to achieve business outcomes.

  • Contribute to the growth of the APAC Data Practice through business development and strategic thinking.


Requirements
  • More than 10 years of experience in a global consulting role focused on data/technology within banking/ insurance.

  • Demonstrable interpersonal skills and the ability to influence without direct authority.

  • Commercial acumen and experience in developing client relationships.

  • Evidence of experience in project and people management skills.

  • Demonstrable understanding of data management principles and methodologies.

  • Experience in defining data strategies and roadmaps.


Qualifications
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices in data management.

  • Certification in data management methodologies.

  • Familiarity with latest cloud-based technology architecture.

  • Strategic thinking and project management skills with Agile experience being a plus.


Salary: SGD250,000 per year (negotiable)
