Java Technical Lead

We are collaborating with a leading global Private Banking and Wealth Management firm. They are looking for a Java Tech Lead to join their vibrant Digital Channels team in Singapore.  You will report directly to the Senior Engineering Manager and deliver essential projects that define the client-facing digital platforms for one of the world's most renowned Private Banking brands.

Responsibilities

• Guide and mentor a team of skilled developers, fostering a culture of collaboration and technical excellence.

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java applications that meet business and client needs.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, UX Designers and other engineering teams.

• Advocate for best practices in coding, architecture and agile methodologies.

Requirements

• More than 5 years of commercial experience in Java development with a demonstrable track record of delivering complex solutions.

• Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Previous leadership experience (formal or informal) is advantageous.

• Full-stack experience, particularly with React, is beneficial but not essential.
