Information Technology Business Analyst

Job description

A fantastic opportunity awaits within a top-tier Asset Management Firm. This 12-month contract role has arisen due to a regional back-office migration project. Client are on the lookout for a proficient Business Analyst to define requirements and align business and technology goals. Given the regional nature of this role, you will collaborate with various teams across the APAC region.

 

 Responsibilities
  • Work with business stakeholders to gather, document and prioritise functional and non-functional requirements for new and existing technology solutions.

  • Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams, ensuring clear communication of requirements, progress and risks throughout the project lifecycle.

  • It is an advantage if you have supported the testing process by developing test cases, conducting UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ensuring that deliverables meet business expectations and requirements.

 

Requirements
  • More than 5 years of business analyst experience in the financial services industry, preferably in asset management/on buy-side firms.

  • Experience working on back-office migration initiatives, or fund accounting projects.

  • Experience in SIT, POC and UAT experience of project phases.

  • It is an advantage if you have experience with Fund Accounting, Transfer Agency and Custody.
