Head of Wealth Management Technology
Job description
A prominent bank is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Wealth Management Technology to head a large technology team of 100+. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding the strategic direction and execution of their technology initiatives within the wealth management division. This role necessitates a profound understanding of wealth management processes, demonstrable leadership skills and a proven history of implementing and managing core banking platforms.
Responsibilities
Lead the development and implementation of technology strategies to support the wealth management business.
Oversee the integration and optimisation of core banking platforms.
Collaborate with senior management to align technology initiatives with business goals.
Manage a team of technology professionals, providing guidance, mentorship and performance management.
Ensure the security, scalability and reliability of technology solutions.
Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
Develop and manage the technology budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Hands-on experience wealth management technology, with working knowledge of using core banking platforms such as Avaloq or Temenos T24.
Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage and inspire a diverse team.
Strong project management skills, with a track record of delivering complex technology projects on time and within budget.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Salary: Up to USD25k monthly (negotiable) + 2-3 Months bonus
