Head of Operations (Investment Banking)
Job description
We are working with an established investment banking firm committed to delivering innovative financial solutions to our clients. They are looking for a dynamic and experienced Head of Operations to join the team and produce operational excellence across the organisation.
Responsibilities
Head and manage the operations team, providing direction, support, and mentorship.
Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the firm’s goals and objectives.
Optimize processes for trade execution, settlements, risk management, and compliance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of operations with front-office functions.
Identify areas for improvement and produce initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and client satisfaction.
Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and best practices.
Prepare and present operational performance reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the operations team.
Requirements
10+ years of experience in investment banking operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Experience using investment banking products (equities / fixed income), processes, and regulatory requirements.
Demonstrable track record optimizing operational processes and implementing best practices.
Evidence of good leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Evidence of good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Salary
Annual salary of $1.4m to $1.5m HKD (negotiable)
