Head of Engineering (Digital Channels)
Job description
A leading Manila based bank is looking to hire a Head of Engineering. Experienced in Digital Channels to manage and innovate their digital banking platforms. This role will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and optimisation of their digital channels, including mobile apps, online banking platforms, and other digital interfaces.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for digital channels, aligning with the bank’s overall digital transformation goals
Head and mentor a team of engineers and developers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
Oversee the design, development, and deployment of digital banking platforms and applications
Ensure seamless integration with existing systems and optimize digital channels for performance, security, and user experience
Ensure all digital channels adhere to regulatory requirements and industry standards for data security and privacy
Requirements
Bring knowledge of Fullstack development with Java and React.js
Working knowledge of digital banking platforms, mobile app development, and web technologies
Demonstrable knowledge of banking operations, and the ability to create strategic initiatives to enhance digital customer experience
Experience with banking regulations and compliance
Experience in managing mid-large sized teams
Salary: Up to PHP750,000/month + bonus (negotiable)
