Head of Engineering

Job description

A prominent international bank, committed to delivering exceptional financial services worldwide, has an exciting opportunity for a Head of Engineering to join their expanding global team. This Director position offers significant growth prospects and the chance to head a team of over 50 professionals.

 

Responsibilities
  • Head and manage the engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

  • Oversee the design, development and deployment of corporate banking products and services.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies and solutions.

  • Commitment to adoption of best practices in software development, quality assurance and project management.

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Mentor and develop engineering talent, promoting continuous learning and professional growth.

 

Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience a senior engineering leadership role within the corporate banking sector.

  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar.

  • Strong technical background with expertise in software development, system architecture and cloud technologies.

  • Evidence of good leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Salary: Up to SGD350k per year (negotiable) + 3-4 months bonus
