Global Head of Personalisation
Job description
An exciting opportunity to deliver and shape the personalisation strategy for a global bank. Reporting to the Head of Digital Sales, you will develop and execute a strategy that aligns with the company's mission and business goals. You will assist local business units in leveraging the martech stack for monetisation and identify potential use cases. Experience with Pega or Adobe tools/platforms is advantageous. Using data, AI and advanced analytics, you will enhance customer experiences across multiple channels. A deep understanding of customer behavior, product lifecycle, and digital marketing is essential, along with the ability to lead cross-functional teams in driving customer-centric innovation.
Responsibilities
Personalisation Strategy: Lead the development of a company-wide personalization vision and roadmap, ensuring it aligns with business goals and customer needs.
Data-Driven Insights: Use data analytics, customer segmentation, and machine learning models to drive personalised content, recommendations, and customer journeys across digital platforms (web, mobile, email, etc.).
Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, Engineering and Data Science teams to implement personalisation initiatives and ensure cohesive customer experiences.
Customer Experience Optimisation: Continuously analyse and optimise personalisation strategies, ensuring an exceptional customer experience at every touchpoint, increasing engagement, conversion and retention rates.
Technology and Tools: Evaluate and implement the latest personalisation technologies, tools and platforms (e.g., CDPs, recommendation engines, A/B testing platforms).
Performance Metrics & Reporting: Define KPIs to measure the success of personalisation efforts and report on results to executive leadership, making data-driven recommendations for improvements.
Leadership: Develop and manage a high-performing team of personalisation specialists, ensuring skill development, knowledge sharing and a collaborative team environment.
Continuous Learning & Innovation: Stay ahead of trends and best practices in personalisation, recommending new strategies and tools to improve customer experiences and business outcomes.
Requirements
Proven experience (typically 8+ years) in personalisation, customer experience, digital marketing, or related fields, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
Strong understanding of data analytics, AI, and machine learning as applied to personalisation.
Experience with with using Pega / Adobe tools / platforms
Expertise in personalisation technologies, including experience with platforms such as CDPs, recommendation engines and A/B testing tools.
Ability to interpret and act on customer data, deriving insights that drive engagement and improve user experience.
Strong management and leadership skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams.
Evidence of good communication skills with the ability to influence and align stakeholders at all levels.
Familiarity with e-commerce, SaaS, or other digital-first environments is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
