Head of Engineering
Job description
A leading bank is hiring a Head of Engineering to create digital transformation and deliver innovative and secure banking solutions. They are looking for someone with leadership experience to manage their Digital Applications & APIs team, delivering the development of next-gen digital products and services.
Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and scaling of digital applications and API platforms.
Define the engineering roadmap and collaborate with product and business teams to prioritize features.
Ensure the use of latest software development practices (Agile, DevOps, CI/CD).
Foster a culture of innovation, mentorship, and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards.
Stay on top of emerging technologies to evolve our digital strategy.
Requirements
More than 10 years in engineering, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
Bring knowledge digital applications, APIs, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and microservices.
Working knowledge of API design and security.
Experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to develop and mentor high-performing teams.
Salary: Up to PHP6M/annum (negotiable)
