Data Specialist

 This is a 1 year direct contract role.

A great role with a global financial services company. You will be responsible for developing reports for the APAC investment team spanning Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, Japan and the Middle East. 

Responsibilities:

• Leading the design and development of BI solutions using PowerBI
• Collaborate with business partners and stakeholders to design and develop the data architecture for BI solutions
• Assist with data modeling for developing BI solutions
• Use data quality metrics and best practices while developing BI solutions
• develop data pipelines where necessary for the development of visualization solutions
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience with creating BI solutions using PowerBI
• Proven experience data modelling and ETL pipeline development
• M Query and Power Query for Data extraction & cleaning
• Building datasets
• Creating reports (DAX for custom fields and interactive features)
• "chaining" of multiple semantic models / datasets via DirectQuery
• Employing strategies to speed up / improve complex report performance

Annual Salary: SGD 120K (negotiable)
