Technical Lead - BlackRock Aladdin

Job description

​An exciting opportunity for a large-scale project, our client is seeking a BlackRock Aladdin Technical Lead to lead the design, development and optimization of BlackRock's Aladdin platform. Oversee a team of experts and ensure the delivery of innovative solutions to enhance the platform’s performance and functionality. 

 Responsibilities
  • Lead the technical direction and strategic development of the Aladdin platform, driving improvements and innovation.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to customize Aladdin to meet specific business needs, optimizing workflows and processes.

  • Manage a technical team, guiding them in system development, troubleshooting, implementation and delivery of projects.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to the Aladdin platform, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.

  • Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of technical projects related to Aladdin, from planning and requirements gathering to development, testing, and deployment.

Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in a technical role on investment management platforms, ideally BlackRock Aladdin

  • Experience driving technical projects with full lifecycle exposure including translating business requirements into technical design and development 

  • Strong knowledge in Aladdin’s front-to-back workflows, data structures, and integration points.

  • Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java) and database technologies (e.g., SQL).

  • Familiarity with cloud technologies and APIs.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality, scalable solutions.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Salary: Up to HKD$1.2 million/annum (Negotiable)
