Senior Program Manager

Job description

My client, a well-established financial institution, is seeking a Senior Program Manager to head the development and deployment of Enterprise Technology, HR and finance systems as part of its digital transformation initiative. This critical role involves managing the delivery of projects that transition legacy systems to cloud and AI technologies, ensuring effective collaboration across teams, timely execution, and alignment with strategic goals.

 

Responsibilities
  • Product Strategy Development: Support the development of product strategy and facilitate business planning and budgeting to achieve strategic goals.

  • Programme Management: Analyse project delivery methods, coordinate product activities, manage day-to-day portfolio operations, and escalate issues affecting project success.

  • Performance Management: Define key performance metrics, utilize data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) for insightful reporting, and create executive summaries for diverse audiences.

  • Governance and Reporting: Prepare and follow up on governance meetings, design impactful presentations, and compile regular status reports to ensure alignment with product objectives.

 

Requirements
  • Experience: 12+ years as a Management Consultant in Technology/Digital Transformation, preferably in Insurance, Banking, Financial Services, or IT Consulting.

  • Skills: Expertise in project management, cloud technologies, AI, and finance/HR software systems. Proficient in tools such as JIRA and Confluence.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; MBA preferred.

  • Personal Attributes: Demonstrable leadership, excellent communication skills, effective problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to confidentiality.

 

Salary

Between 25,000-35,000 MYR monthly, along with bonuses and attractive benefits.
