Senior Backend Engineer

We are working with a multi-strategy hedge fund, who are one of Asia's most well-funded start-up trading firms ever. They are expanding their core engineering function in Hong Kong, looking for experienced backend engineers to join their group.

You will be joining the hugely exciting expansion phase where you will be contributing and developing the core technology infrastructure for them. You will get to work front to back, from the trading platforms downstream through to the critical middle/back office functions.

Requirements

• Prefer more than 6 years of commercial backend development experience.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related subject.

• Strong commercial experience in Python or C++ (both is strongly preferred).

• Understanding of Java or Scala is advantageous but not a must.

• A keen interest in Capital Markets and trading technology.

Salaries: Up HKD$1.2M per year (negotiable) with a very competitive bonus structure
