Loan Operations Specialist

 Our client, a leading bank with a strong reputation, is seeking to expand its private banking operations in Singapore. As a Loan Operations Specialist you will play a crucial role in this exciting expansion. Joining as one of the first team members, you will help establish key processes and policies, ensuring the smooth management of daily functions. This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront in shaping the future of their private banking division.

 

Responsibilities
  • Primary responsibility for the preparation and verification of Private Banking loan documentation, including Facility Letters and security documents. 

  • Work closely with relationship managers, in-house and external legal counsel to track and follow up on outstanding documentation. Ensure all conditions precedent are met before proceeding to limit setup.

  • Coordinate with solicitors, property valuers, insurers, and brokers to ensure all required due diligence and documentation are duly executed.

  • Draft and prepare Notification letters and Termination letters as needed.

  • Conduct UAT testing when assigned, to ensure systems and processes are functioning correctly.

  • Perform day-to-day processing of new loan drawdowns and loan rollovers in the Avaloq system.

  • Daily reporting whenever required.

Requirements 
  • Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or other discipline.

  • Prefer 5 years of working experience within banking, particularly in PB loans documentation.

  • Proficient in speaking and reading English & Mandarin.

  • Evidence of good organisational and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

Salary: Up to SGD$84K per year (negotiable)
