Java Engineering Lead
Job description
We are working with a top bank who are looking for a passionate Java Lead Engineer to join a growing Digital Investments function.
A huge expansion area for the bank, they are looking for technical engineering leaders who can help drive the insurance and wealth technology divisions into modern digital technology environments. You will be managing a small team of engineers, leading from the front technically and also shaping technology strategy for an application that affects millions of customers.
You will be leading a team distributed across Singapore and Taiwan, so Mandarin-speaking skills are essential for this position.
Requirements
Strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals (algorithms, data structures etc.).
Prefer more than 10 years experience in software engineering.
Prefer more 3 than years experience in Team Lead or Engineering Manager role.
Strong Java programming skills.
Good understanding of the Spring framework.
Good understanding of TDD and modern clean code principles.
Mandarin-speaking skills to a business level is essential.
Salary up to SGD$240,000 (negotiable)
