Head of Engineering
Job description
We’re working with a cutting-edge Series-A fintech startup who are looking for a Head of Engineering to help take them on the next stage of their journey.
They are looking for an experienced engineering leader with a deep technical background, and who is still closer to the day-to-day product delivery. They have recently finished a second round of funding which has been highly successful, and they are looking for a senior technologist to help set up a technology roadmap for the next 12-18 months.
The ideal profile will be someone who has previous experience scaling a startup or SME but is fundamentally an engineer at heart. Although a large aspect of the role is about setting a technology vision for the future, they need someone who is comfortable with the end-to-end application development lifecycle.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
8+ years of software engineering experience in modern engineering practices focused on large scale, highly available distributed systems
5+ years of experience managing teams of high performing engineers
Hands-on experience working on event-driven, distributed systems architectures
Experience implementing and uplifting quality standards & processes
Excellent stakeholder management & communication skills
Proven experience in the fintech industry, particularly within Singapore, is highly desirable.
**Salary negotiable up to $250,000**
