Responsibilities

πŸ” Conduct Deep-Dive Risk Assessments: Evaluate leveraged finance and corporate loans across the APAC region to understand risks and opportunities.

πŸ“Š Manage Underwriting Processes: Analyse historical financial performance, legal structure, and cash flow assumptions for credit applications.

πŸ“‘ Evaluate & Recommend Credit Proposals: Provide insightful recommendations based on credit ratings, risk analysis, and financial modeling.

🏦 Monitor & Optimise Portfolio Performance: Manage leveraged finance accounts, ensuring risks are properly identified and escalated when necessary.

πŸ’¬ Engage with Senior Stakeholders: Present transactions clearly to senior management, offering insights into risks, mitigants, and client bankability.

🀝 Collaborate with Business Teams: Provide risk-based solutions, proposing alternatives and helping guide business strategies.

πŸ“œ Contribute to Credit Policy Development: Participate in credit policy reviews, risk guidelines, and process improvement initiatives to drive efficiencies.

 

What We Are Looking For

πŸŽ“Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

πŸ’Ό Experience: 7–15 years in credit risk, specialising in corporate lending and leveraged finance (including LBO/MBO).

πŸ” Risk Analysis Expertise: Proven experience analysing complex financial structures and offering actionable insights for credit proposals.

πŸ“Š Financial Modeling: Strong skills in financial modeling with a deep understanding of financial structures and risk analysis.

πŸ’¬ Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to manage multiple priorities.

🧠 Attention to Detail: Ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

πŸ† Senior Assistant Vice President Consideration: For candidates with strong experience but slightly less leadership experience, we are open to considering candidates at the Senior Assistant Vice President level.

 

Benefits
