Chief Risk Officer – Retail Banking

Your Role

🔹 Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management framework for the retail banking division
🔹 Oversee credit risk, fraud risk, and operational risk to maintain a resilient and compliant banking environment
🔹 Monitor emerging risks, market trends, and regulatory changes to proactively adjust risk strategies
🔹 Collaborate with compliance, legal, and operations teams to ensure an integrated risk approach
🔹 Lead and mentor a high-performing risk team, fostering a culture of risk awareness and continuous improvement
🔹 Present risk assessments, mitigation strategies, and key insights to senior management and the board of directors

What We're Looking for

✔ 20+ years of experience in risk management within banking or financial services, with a strong retail banking focus
✔ Proven expertise in credit risk, fraud prevention, and operational risk
✔ Strong leadership experience, with the ability to drive performance and lead large teams
✔ Evidence of good stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence C-suite executives and board members
✔ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred)
✔ Professional certifications such as FRM, PRM are a plus
✔ Experience in a top-tier or international bank is highly desirable
