AVP - Forensic Fraud Investigation
Job description
Our client is a leading asset management firm with a specialisation in public markets investments. Renowned for their outstanding performance, the company is dedicated to upholding the integrity and corporate governance. As part of their ongoing commitment to ethical business practices, they are looking to hire an experienced AVP, Forensic Fraud Investigation to join their team in Singapore.
Responsibilities
Conduct forensic investigations into potential fraud, misconduct and financial irregularities within the organisation.
Head and support internal investigations relating to compliance breaches, conflicts of interest and unethical practices.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including compliance, legal and risk teams, to assess and mitigate fraud risks.
Develop and implement fraud detection frameworks, leveraging data analytics and forensic methodologies.
Prepare comprehensive investigation reports and present findings to senior management and relevant authorities.
Provide training and advisory support on fraud risk management and ethical business practices.
Monitor emerging fraud trends and regulatory developments to enhance the company's fraud risk strategy.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g. CA, CPA, CIA) are preferred.
Minimum 6-8 years of experience in forensic accounting, fraud investigation or financial crime compliance, ideally within asset management, banking or financial services.
Familiarity with investigative techniques, forensic analytics and regulatory requirements related to fraud.
Evidence of good analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism.
