Principal Kafka Engineer
Job description
We’re working with a global digital technology consultancy who are looking for Principal Kafka Engineers to join their team in Singapore and shape cutting-edge solutions for major clients.
Responsibilities
Design, implement, and optimize scalable data streaming architectures with Kafka.
Collaborate with the Confluent team and key stakeholders to drive high-impact projects.
Lead a talented team of engineers and deliver robust streaming solutions.
Requirements
8+ years' experience in commercial software development.
Deep knowledge of Kafka components (Streams, Connect, KSQL).
Strong programming skills, and proficient in Java, Scala, or Python.
Familiarity with public cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for Kafka deployments.
An ability to guide and mentor junior developers.
Salary: Up to SGD$200k per year (negotiable)
