Job description

We are partnering with a leading financial institution in Thailand undergoing a major digital transformation, and we're looking for a Principal Engineer to lead the charge in backend architecture and development across high-impact platforms.

In this hands-on leadership role, you will guide 3–4 engineering squads (approx. 12 engineers), shape the architecture of core systems, and collaborate directly with executive leadership on solutions that serve millions of users.

🔹 Responsibilities

Lead backend development using .NET Core, C#, Angular
Architect scalable, high-performance enterprise platforms
Stay hands-on with code while mentoring and guiding engineering teams
Align tech solutions with real customer needs through close collaboration with product leaders
Champion best practices across CI/CD, microservices, and cloud environments

🔹 What We're Looking For

Strong experience in a senior/principal engineering role
Deep hands-on backend expertise with architectural foresight
Proven ability to lead and grow high-performing technical teams
Skilled in building scalable platforms and enterprise systems
Excellent communicator with the ability to influence and inspire
Thai-speaking candidates preferred (not mandatory)
