Principal AI Engineer

​A fantastic opportunity to lead the buildout of a cutting-edge AI platform for a global bank.
Our client is looking for a Principal AI Engineer to spearhead the design, development, and deployment of scalable AI infrastructure. This greenfield role is pivotal in shaping MLOps practices, setting up GPU/cloud platforms, and standardising machine learning workflows across the organisation. You’ll work at the intersection of innovation and impact delivering AI products that transform global banking operations.

🔧 Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of a high-performance AI platform.

  • Drive MLOps strategy across the machine learning lifecycle (development to monitoring).

  • Define and implement best practices for model development and deployment.

  • Manage GPU and cloud infrastructure for AI workloads.

  • Build and optimise data pipelines for seamless data integration.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Science, Software, and Platform Engineering.

  • Stay ahead of AI innovation trends to enhance platform capabilities.

  • Mentor and support junior engineers and team members.

✅ Requirements

  • 8–10 years’ experience in AI/ML engineering with a strong delivery record.

  • Expertise in ML frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch.

  • Hands-on with MLOps tools: MLflow, Kubeflow.

  • Strong cloud experience: AWS, Azure.

  • GPU optimisation and deployment experience.

  • Advanced coding skills in Python, Java, or C++.

  • Strong data engineering and pipeline development skills.

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.

  • Salary: PHP 500K/month + Bonus
