Junior Corporate Counsel

Job description

​A leading player in the digital assets industry, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Corporate Counsel to join their expanding legal team. You will support various legal functions, including corporate governance, regulatory compliance, contract negotiation and intellectual property matters, specifically within the digital assets sector.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and agreements, including vendor contracts, partnership agreements and service agreements.

  • Support the legal team in ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to digital assets, including securities laws, AML/KYC regulations and data privacy laws.

  • Conduct legal research and analyse regulatory developments affecting the digital assets industry.

  • Assist in the preparation of corporate governance documents and maintain corporate records.

  • Provide legal support for product launches and new business initiatives, including risk assessments and compliance checks.

Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in a corporate legal environment.

  • Strong interest to learn about blockchain technology, cryptocurrency, and relevant regulatory frameworks.

  • Excellent research, writing and analytical skills.

  • Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively to non-legal stakeholders.

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Salary: Competitive based on PQE
