Insurance Practice Leader

Job description

A fantastic role working with a global management consulting company focusing on financial services and insurance. This role will lead the insurance practice in Singapore, working alongside the Partner for the insurance practice in APAC. 

 

Responsibilities
  • Develop and assess client strategies, including vision and objectives.

  • Conduct capability assessments and identify pain points through workshops.

  • Deliver large complex tech modernization programs for clients.

  • Act as a consultant for insurance companies on transformation and tech modernization initiatives.

  • Contribute to the growth of the APAC Insurance Practice through business development and strategic thinking.

 Requirements
  • Experience: Prefer 12+ years in a global consulting firm with a focus on insurance projects.

  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of insurance products, operational processes, and legacy systems, alongside tech modernization initiatives.

  • Value Chain Insight: Extensive familiarity with the insurance value chain, distribution channels, and key vendors.

  • Program Leadership: Proven track record in leading complex application development programs and integrating new technologies into existing structures.

  • Stakeholder Management: Strong skills in managing senior stakeholders and large, cross-discipline teams.

  • Agile Practices: Experience with Agile methodologies is preferred.

  • Commercial Acumen: Established network in the APAC insurance industry, with leadership experience in managing teams and P&L accountability.

  • Sales and Account Management: Preferred experience in developing go-to-market strategies and successfully managing client relationships to drive revenue growth.

Salary: SGD$240K - SGD$270K (negotiable)
