Director – DevSecOps

Job description

We are partnering with a leading organisation at the forefront of innovation, security, and technology excellence to hire a Director of DevSecOps. This role is a unique opportunity to drive cultural transformation, enhance security integration, and head a team dedicated to building secure, scalable systems across cloud-based platforms.

 

Responsibilities
  • Develop & Implement Strategy: Design and execute a comprehensive DevSecOps strategy aligned with business objectives.

  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of DevSecOps professionals, ensuring security is seamlessly integrated into CI/CD pipelines.

  • Secure Cloud Infrastructure: Design and maintain secure Kubernetes (AWS EKS, Azure AKS) and Docker environments.

  • Security Automation: Implement tools for static/dynamic code scanning, container security, and 3rd-party library scanning.

  • Cloud-Native Security: Oversee IAM, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, WAF, and Helm charts to maintain a secure infrastructure.

  • Risk Management: Identify and remediate vulnerabilities (OWASP/SANS CWE) and enforce security best practices.

  • API Security & Governance: Develop secure APIs (GraphQL) and deploy on Azure APIM GW or MuleSoft API GW.

  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to solve complex security challenges and ensure compliance.

 

Requirements

Proven Leadership: Experience leading DevOps/DevSecOps teams in enterprise environments.
Cloud & Container Security: Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, AWS EKS, Azure AKS, Helm charts, IAM policies, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, and WAF.
Programming Proficiency: Strong coding/scripting skills in Golang, Ruby, C/C++, C#, Python, JavaScript, Bash.
Security & Compliance: Deep knowledge of software vulnerabilities (OWASP/SANS CWE) and remediation techniques.
Infrastructure & CI/CD: Strong understanding of using securing CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native applications.
Identity Management: Experience with LDAP, Kerberos, SAML, OAuth strategies.
Automation & Multi-Cloud Experience: Familiarity with Terraform/Ansible, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba Cloud).
Compliance Standards: Understanding of HIPAA, SOC, ISO, PCI DSS regulations.
