Job description
We're partnering with a leading global wealth manager to appoint a Director Data Science- a high-impact leadership opportunity based in Singapore. Reporting directly to the Chief Digital Officer, you’ll shape and drive the firm’s enterprise-wide AI strategy and play a pivotal role in the design and deployment of transformative AI solutions across the business.

🔍Responsibilities
Build the AI Centre of Excellence: Define AI governance, best practices, and ethical frameworks.
AI Strategy & Roadmap: Own and drive the AI agenda to enable business growth and customer personalisation.
Develop & Deploy AI Models: Lead ML, deep learning, and NLP use cases in areas like wealth management, segmentation, and fraud detection.
Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with business units including Front Office and Investment Services to integrate AI into daily operations.
Lead & Inspire: Mentor AI teams and foster a culture of innovation.
Ensure Governance & Compliance: Uphold regulatory and ethical standards.
Monitor & Optimize: Continuously improve model performance and accuracy.
Stay Ahead of the Curve: Research and adopt emerging AI technologies.
✅What You Bring
Master's/PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
5–7+ years’ experience in data science/AI leadership roles (ideally in financial services).
Technical proficiency in ML, NLP, Python, R, SQL, cloud (Azure/GCP/AWS), and big data.
Strong domain knowledge in wealth management and financial analytics.
Proven leadership and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
Familiarity with regulatory/ethical AI frameworks.
🌟Preferred Skills
Experience setting up or scaling an AI Center of Excellence.
Exposure to AI-powered automation, chatbots, and data visualization tools.
Domain expertise in wealth management AI use cases.
💼Offer
Base salary: SGD250K–300K + bonus
