โ€‹Our client, a fast-growing cybersecurity start-up based in Cyberjaya, Kuala Lumpur, is seeking a Director to lead the delivery and management of their security consulting services. This is a unique opportunity to drive operational excellence, mentor a high-performing team, and work closely with top-tier clients to deliver cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions.

๐ŸŒŸ Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of security consulting projects, ensuring high-quality, timely, and cost-effective execution.

  • Manage, mentor, and grow a team of security consultants, fostering a collaborative and performance-driven culture.

  • Serve as the primary client liaison, understanding their security needs and ensuring tailored, effective solutions.

  • Develop and optimise service delivery processes including capacity planning, resource allocation, and performance tracking.

  • Conduct security assessments, risk analyses, and compliance reviews; recommend mitigation strategies.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, keeping up-to-date with industry best practices.

  • Ensure adherence to security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS Controls.

  • Prepare and present comprehensive reports to clients and internal stakeholders.

๐ŸŒŸ What We're Looking For

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

  • Minimum 8 years of cybersecurity experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or consulting delivery role.

  • Proven success managing multiple security consulting projects.

  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and security standards (ISO 27001, NIST).

  • Excellent leadership, client-facing, and communication skills.

  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are highly desirable.

  • Experience in incident response, security audits, and regulatory compliance is a plus.
