DevOps Engineer (12 month contract)
Job description
A prominent technology consulting firm is looking to bring on board a Senior DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with hands-on experience AWS Cloud, automation and infrastructure management. Suitable candidate will have a strong foundation in Python development, guaranteeing scalable, dependable, and high-performing cloud environments.
Responsibilities
Design, develop and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure using Terraform and best DevOps practices.
Develop and optimise Airflow workflows for data orchestration and automation.
Manage and scale Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability and performance.
Write efficient, scalable Python code to support infrastructure automation and tooling.
Requirements
More than 10 years of DevOps/SRE experience, focusing on AWS, Kubernetes and automation.
Demonstrable Python engineering experience and software engineering fundamentals.
Expertise in Airflow for workflow automation.
Advanced knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC).
Experience managing and scaling Kubernetes clusters.
