Compliance Manager (CMS / Banking)

Our client, a leading European digital bank known for their innovative and client-focused wealth management solutions, is expanding its presence in Asia. They are seeking a motivated and experienced Compliance Manager to head a small team in their Singapore office. Responsibilities
  • Ensure adherence to Singapore's Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) regulations and other relevant authorities. Stay updated on regulatory changes and translate them into actionable strategies.

  • Conduct compliance risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimise regulatory and reputational risks.

  • Oversee compliance monitoring activities and prepare reports for senior management, regulators and internal stakeholders.

  • Act as a key advisor to business units on compliance matters, including KYC/AML, customer due diligence and all other financial crime related activities.

  • Work closely with internal teams, external auditors and regulators to facilitate inspections, audits and regulatory filings.

 

Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years of compliance experience in the financial services industry, with exposure to digital banking or wealth management preferred.

  • Strong understanding of Singapore's regulatory framework, including MAS regulations, AML/KYC requirements and financial crime compliance.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business, or a related field. A compliance certification (e.g., CAMS, ICA) is a strong advantage.

  • Proactive, detail-oriented and a commitment to upholding ethical standards.

Salary: SG$200,000 per annum (negotiable)
