Associate Director – Digital Risk

My client is in search of a seasoned professional to join its rapidly expanding Cyber Protect team within a key market. This position presents a rare opportunity to collaborate with a highly skilled and truly global team of cybersecurity experts, contributing significantly to the development of their Cyber Protect services.
The role calls for a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in client-facing roles, particularly in securing and delivering cyber strategy advisory services to global clients. The successful candidate will enhance the organization's offerings, working closely with regional leadership to showcase superior analytical, project management, and business development abilities. The role demands a team-oriented individual who is goal-driven and dedicated to providing top-tier advice to major firms in the region.
The ideal candidate will have a well-established history of leading cybersecurity advisory projects and possess a deep comprehension of the cybersecurity challenges faced by clients, along with knowledge of relevant local regulations and standards. They should excel in conveying complex, technology-related issues to C-level executives and have extensive experience in executing cybersecurity strategy assessments and improvement projects.

 

Core Responsibilities
Project Delivery:
  • Oversee digital risk advisory projects, including program management, stakeholder engagement, and resolving issues.

  • Lead strategy and transformation initiatives, assisting clients in developing strong digital security strategies, conducting risk evaluations, and supporting cybersecurity due diligence.

  • Act as a senior advisor to clients throughout their digital security transformation journey.

  • Collaborate with senior project stakeholders and external technical partners to deliver cohesive solutions and provide actionable recommendations based on technical insights.

Business Development:
  • Prepare proposals for prospective client engagements and nurture long-term client relationships.

  • Participate in marketing efforts and speaking engagements to enhance the organization's brand visibility.

  • Support pricing and project budget planning through careful project scoping.

  • Contribute to and help develop complex, multi-service line proposals.

Advancing the Cyber Practice:
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to team members.

  • Assist in refining the organization's cybersecurity methodologies and strategies.

  • Contribute to professional development and training initiatives.

  • Educate other departments on cybersecurity services.

  • Play a key role in identifying and recruiting local talent for the cybersecurity team.

Qualifications:
  • Significant experience in cybersecurity risk management within a reputable consultancy.

  • The ability to understand security from an attacker’s perspective and effectively communicate enterprise risks to senior non-technical audiences.

  • Demonstrated success in designing and implementing cybersecurity strategies for clients.

  • Experience in conducting risk assessments against recognized industry standards (e.g., NIST CSF, ISO27001).

  • Familiarity with information handling and technology regulations and standards.

  • Broad experience in corporate environments with an understanding of the interaction between various departments and governance levels within commercial organizations.

  • Strong knowledge of IT and OT network infrastructure.

  • Relevant educational background and industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, ISO27001 Lead Auditor, SANs).

 

Salary: Up to HKD900K per year
