Application Support Analyst (AVP)
Job description
A reputable wealth management financial Institute is looking to add an Application Support Analyst to their team. You will be the go-to person to fix issues and escalations for their wealth management applications.
Your Role
- Provide L1/L2 technical support for all applications used by wealth management technology, including Avaloq, Marginman and many others.
- Manage day to day production issues, including daily health checks of all applications and processes.
- Working closely with various stakeholders including business users, development staff and infrastructure teams. Prioritise, mitigate or resolve issues and/or minimize outages.
- Responsible for availability, incident, problem and capacity management for all applications in scope.
- Maintain set objectives availability of production environment including ensuing batch monitoring during late shifts.
Requirements
- University graduate with a minimum of 7-8 years of application support experience in application support role in banking environment/ financial institution.
- ITIL v3 or similar qualifications with Java, Oracle, Unix/Linux, Sybase technologies.
- Demonstrate basic financial understanding in FX/MM/Equity/Derivatives and associated front to back operational workflow.
- 5-6 years of hands on experience in Unix/Linux, Oracle/Sybase, Java technologies, Avaloq and Marginman.
Salary: $140K (Negotiable)
