Senior Business Analyst – Risk and Compliance

Job description

Our client is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join their growing team in Hong Kong.  You will focus on business transformation, operational efficiency and system enhancements within their asset management business. You will work closely with stakeholders across investment operations, technology, compliance and fund accounting responsibilities.

 

Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyse and document business requirements for system improvements and process optimisation.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across legal, compliance and risk teams to enhance workflow efficiency.

  • Conduct gap analysis, user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide recommendations for business process improvements.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies when implementing changes.

  • Prepare clear business documentation, including functional specifications, process maps and user guides.

 

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in asset management or financial services.

  • Working knowledge of governance domains such as AML, Onboarding and regulatory reporting. 

  • Evidence of good stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Fluency in English is required; Cantonese and/or Mandarin is an advantage.

Salary: HK$75k to HKD80k / month (negotiable)
