Lead / Senior DevSecOps Engineer (Application Security)
Job description
We are working with a leading global organisation undergoing a major transformation focused on scaling Agile, Cloud, and DevOps capabilities. They are building a centralised DevSecOps team to strengthen security across internal IT and development teams and they’re hiring a passionate DevSecOps Engineer to join this journey.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape enterprise-wide security practices while collaborating with global stakeholders.
🌟 What You'll Do
Oversee infrastructure security, administration, automation, and troubleshooting to ensure efficient operations and security analysis.
Partner with development and cyber teams to guide and assist in remediating vulnerabilities.
Advise on secure software development methodologies and promote Shift Left practices.
Integrate and automate security tools within CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation.
Mentor and train development teams on secure development lifecycle best practices.
✅ What We're Looking For
5+ years’ experience in DevSecOps with a strong focus on application security.
Expertise in code reviews, secure coding, and remediation.
Deep knowledge of security tools and best practices across on-prem and cloud (e.g. SAST, DAST, SCA, container scanners).
Prior experience as a software developer or working closely with dev teams.
Skilled in IaC, containerization, orchestration, and monitoring tools.
